We’re looking forward to the April issue of Yachting World magazine which will feature a 10 page article on the Gunboat 66. This can do no harm for the catamaran industry, raising the profile of Cats among all sailors and really focusing on the advantages they offer. For world cruisers the ability to make leisurely 350+ mile passages has to be a benefit. For coastal sailors a boat like this takes the worry out of shorthanded operation. Our hope is that the tendency for builders (and owners) to create performance-sapped Cats will be challenged.
Lots of videos on Youtube, here’s one of our favourites.
